Create a project using Cute Animals

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, July 6, 2018 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Diane Morales showcases Newton Loves Boxes stamp set with these two sweet tags using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. The plaid paper and touch of twine will brighten up any birthday present!

Emily Lauritzen has creatively used from the Newton's Donut stamp set. She has created a little pool for her kitty to enjoy lounging on his donut-shaped floaty. She inks a sentiment from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set. The heart-shaped pattern paper die cut with the Frames & Flags die set looks like grass. Who wouldn't want to be here?

Zsofia Molnar creates a bright, vibrant and totally darling summer card!  Her ink sunny background and big waves make for a perfect place for these bears Papa Bear stamp set and die to romp and play!  The sentiment from Aloha Newton stamp set works perfectly!

Andrea Shell has this darling interactive card. Her little kitty from the Newton's Donut stamp and die  set actually swings! Her soft pastel background  has been die cut using the  Frames & Flags die set.

Debbie Owens bright polka-dotted background compliments the colorful toucans from Toucan Party stamp set. The large tropical leaves sticking out are a fun touch. The Frames & Flags die set was used to create a white frame against the black background.

Candice creates a soft, romantic background then adds a jeweled rainbow. She uses Once Upon a Princess stamp set and embosses the sentiment on the stitched banner. She finishes the card with a white stitched frame. Just so pretty!

Diane's FAVE

Sue creates this fun, festive card using Newton's Christmas Cuddles stamp set. We love the unique card design and how she fussy cut Newton poking his head out of the box. The added strip of striped paper pulls everything together!  The sentiment is from Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set. 

Emily's FAVE

Irene created this simple, but totally adorable baby card using Loveable Laundry stamp set and Stitched Onesie die set. We love how she coordinated the lion onesie and the large "Roar" sentiment. So fun!

We love how Laura creates this striking smooshed background using the challenge colors. Her softly colored toucans from the  Toucan Party stamp and die set and placed them atop of the background.

Rijacki's magical card has Newton dreaming about magic!  Rijacki combines Newton's Book Club, Newton Loves Cake (sentiment inside), and a retired NND stamp set, Magical Dreams, to create this fun card. The background paper works wonderfully to pull everything together!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our Color Challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.  It's a COLOR Challenge:  Use the colors white, blue, green, and yellow.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

Debbie Owens uses distress oxide inks to create this fabulous background. Then shes uses the Bubbly stencil with white ink to create the fun bubbles. She combines the celebrate sentiment from the Birthday Essentials with Newton from the Newton's Graduation stamp sets. The fun scalloped frame is from the Frames & Flags die set.

Diane Morales creatively combines the Snow Globe Scenes and Festive Forest stamp sets to create this fabulous CAS card! What a fabulous way to stretch holiday stamps to congrats a new homeowner!

Emily Lauritzen's layered card is beyond beautiful! Emily uses multiple layers of white embossing powder and inks with the Shades of Autumn and Peony Blooms stamp sets to create this amazing card. She also uses the Frames & Flags and Framework die sets. Love the little pearl dots on the scallops!

Zsofia Molnar designs an interactive card with an action wobble that is just so adorable!  She uses the Cloudy Sky stencil to create those fluffy clouds.  The daring Newton in his hot air balloon is from the  Newton Dreams of Paris. The sentiments are a combination of the Birthday Essentials stamp set
and Winston Takes Flight stamp set.  Such a delightful scene!

Andrea Shell creates this playful beach card that is beyond spectacular!  She uses images from Newton's Summer Vacation to create both a beach and ocean scene!  Those big waves are made using the Sea Borders die set. Love the white caps! For the sentiments uses Simply Sentimental, and Cosmic Newton stamp sets.

Debbie Owens brings us a fun summer scene using Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set. The cute polka dotted raft is floating on some embossed waves which were created using the Waves stencil.

Diane Morales presents this stunning card using the new Blooming Botanicals stamp set and
the Frames & Flags die set.

Emily Lauritzen knows how to celebrate with this festive card created with the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. She creates fabulous backgrounds behind those delicious-looking drinks using  the Bubbly stencil. The scalloped frame was created using  Frames & Flags stencil set.

Zsofia Molnar designed this gorgeous floral card using the new Peony Blooms stamp and die set. Her shading of those beautiful flowers and leaves look wonderful on the ink striped background.

Andrea Shell creates a darling Father's Day card using the Papa Bear stamp and die set. The plaid paper uses the challenge colors wonderfully. What a fabulous way to celebrate Dad!

Candice sketches a fun backdrop for this handsome knight from the Knight's Quest stamp set who is showing his bravery against this sweet, oops, I mean fiercesome, dragon!

Sue's card just makes us smile with it's bright colors. The wreath of flowers surrounding the toucan from the  Toucan Party stamp set looks so cute. The googly eye is a fun, playful touch!

Emily's FAVE

Polka Dot Orchard colors only one puppy in this scene from the Woof Pack stamp set which really makes him stand out. Her use of the black background with the red strip and yellow polka dots provides a nice contrast.

Claire  creates this fabulous Father's day card using Newton's Book Club stamp set. She colors her kitty so sweetly and adds strips of a real book to pull everything together fabulously. The touch of glossy accents adds a fun playful touch!

Floral Lace stencil to create the background with the gold embossed sentiment on the black paper.

Debbie Owens makes this fun summer-themed card using the retiring Freshly Squeezed stamp set. She uses the Frames & Flags die set for the background and banners.  Who wouldn't want to buy a glass from the adorable Winston?

Diane Morales creates this fabulous background using Umbrella Pals stamp set that was embossed with white on the dark background. She uses the Sky Borders die set to create the middle border and the Frames & Flags die set for her banners. The bright green frog umbrella finishes the card beautifully!

Emily Lauritzen brings us this lovely card using the Blooming Botanicals stamp set. Her beautifully colored flowers are just striking!  She choose a sentiment from the Peony Blooms stamp set.  Just love all the different patterns Emily incorporates!
