Theme Challenge--Add Pretty Polka Dots!
Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:
Sue T. has squeezed in so many polka dots with this citrus delight! Using the Frame & Flags die set, she die cuts the scallop-edged frame which she embosses with large polka dots. The then stamps the lemons on two different yellow polka dotted papers using the Lemon Twist stamp and die set. She creates her sentiment banner using the Frame & Flags die set again. Look closely and you'll see that she even uses two chartreuse polka dotted papers! Dots everywhere!
Becky Noelle's lucky leprechaun kitty from the Newton's Pot of Gold stamp set has found a pot of gold at the end this darling rainbow! Her use of enameled dots for the rainbow is genius! Those big fluffy clouds were made using the Clouds stencil. She adds polka dotted grass using the Land Borders die set. (Do those enameled dots remind anyone else of delicious Skittles?)
You can sum up Crystal Komara's card with one word--SUNSHINE! Just looking at it, you might get your daily allotment of Vitamin D! Using yellow polka dotted paper, she adds a scalloped frame with chartreuse grass for her duo of mice from the Garden Mice stamp and die set to frolic in! A perfect card to look at on a dull, gray wintery day!
Debbie Owens has a fluffle of bunnies for you to enjoy! Beginning with the Frames & Flags die set, she creates the scallop-edged frame. She then adds lots of green polka dotted hills and grass using the Land Borders die set. Using the Sky Scene Builder die set, she adds a yellow-polka dotted sun and a couple of big fluffy clouds. She pulls bunnies from three stamp sets--Woodland Spring, Woodland Picnic, and Hop Into Spring. She adds a sprinkling of yellow flowers from the Woodland Spring stamp set. A super fun scene!
Diane Morales' card is sure to bring smiles with the brightly colored polka dotted paper for her background! She then uses the bunny in the water can image from the Hop Into Spring stamp and die set and colors the tulips in the same shades as the dots! The bright yellow watering can pulls all the elements together!
I hope these projects have inspired you to play along! Remember, you have until this Friday, March 13, 2020 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
