Create a project using the Colors:
Red, Pink, Orange, and Yellow
Set on a yellow distressed background, Sue T. adds fish, coral, and starfish in the challenge colors using the Tranquil Tides. She stamps the "Seas the Day" sentiment to her beautiful underwater scene to complete her CAS card!
Becky Noelle's color progression from red to yellow using distress inks provides a beautifully blended background for her tropical paradise card. Using the Tropical Leaves stencil, she adds rich texture to her card before adding the palm trees from the Paradise Palms stamp set which are heat embossed in white. Using partially cuts a vellum frame using the Frames & Flags die set and pulls a sentiment from the Aloha Newton stamp set. Her white stitching provides yet more fabulous texture!
Crystal Komara chooses the balloon lady from the Holding Happiness stamp and die set as her main focus. Her balloons look so festive in the challenge colors. Using dies from the Circle Frames die set, she adds the "Big Wishes" sentiment on a white circle with a red, scallop-edged circle beneath. She selects a horizontal striped paper that no only has the challenge colors, but adds a nice contrast to all the circles and balloons! A festive card, indeed!
Diane Morales makes a shaped card base using the Frames Squared die set using white card stock and uses the Plaid stencil set for a subtle background. She then stamps and die cuts the porch image from the Porch Swing Friends stamp and die set and colors everything in the challenge colors. Don't you love the little white dots on her blanket? She adds string to her swing and adheres it so it actually swings! Brilliant!
Debbie Owens'card has lots of fun layers using several die sets from Newton's Nook Designs.
She started by using a white card base and the Frames Squared die set. She uses the scallop-edged die for the pink frame from the same set. The Circle Frames die set is used for the center circle layer. Using Distress Ink she lightly adds pink waves using the Waves stencil. Using the challenge colors of orange, yellow and red, she stamps and die cuts several elements from the Tranquil Tides stamp and die set. She sprinkles in some sequins for sparkle and shine. On a small circular die, she heat embosses the sentiment. As she assembles the card, she adds some cheese cloth netting for more texture and a bit of fun!
I hope these projects have inspired you to play along! Remember, you have until this Friday, July 31, 2020 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
