Becky Noelle takes us under the waves for her one-layer ocean scene. Using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set she begins her masking masterpiece. She takes ocean elements from several stamp sets: Narly Mermaids, Scuba Newton, and Purr-maid Newton to add coral, fish, and shells. Then she adds Newton from the Scuba Newton stamp set enjoying all the underwater treasures. Notice the sun rays from the Sunscape stencil subtly shining beneath the waves.
Becky's card showed how to have fun below the waves. Crystal Komara's slimline card shows us how to have fun above the waves! Using the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set and coordinating die set, she uses three kitty images to show how to have fun anywhere on the beach. Starting away from the water, her first kitty is sunbathing under the rays created using the Sunscape stencil. Down by the water, her second kitty is making sandcastles beneath palm trees using the Aloha Newton die set. Playing in those cool sparkling waves die cut using the Sea Borders die set. Anyone else wishing they could be there with those felines?
Debbie Owens creates a picnic gathering down at the lake! For her scene, she creates a little pond with waves using distress ink and the Waves Stencil. Using the Mountains Stencil, she adds some gray mountains with the sun from the Sunscape Stencil peeking from behind them. In foreground, she adds evergreen trees using the Whispering Pines stamp set. She adds the canoe image from the Winston's Lake House stamp set paddling away in the lake as well as oodles of forest critters from the Woodland Picnic stamp set nibbling on some picnic goodies!
Diane Morales takes to a pumpkin patch! Using the Land Borders die set and
Hills & Grass stencil, she creates layers of grass for all her pumpkins from the Pumpkin Latte stamp and die set. She then adds her little witch kitty from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set and the fox from
the Harvest Tails stamp and die set. Notice the owl watching the whole scene? He's from the
What a Hoot stamp and die set. With the starry background, this is a fabulous place for a great pumpkin caper!
.
Ready for a garden filled with flowery delights? Sue T.'s card will not disappoint. Her playful mouse from the Garden Mice stamp and die set chasing a butterfly is about to enter the garden window filled with flowers from the Roses stamp and die set, the Easter Lily stamp and die set, Sunflower Days stamp and die set, and Dainty Daisies stamp and die set. Also enjoying this flowery haven is a beautiful hummingbird from the Hummingbird stamp and die set. Oh I wish my garden was this beautiful!
