Don't forget -
There's still time to play along with our latest Inky Paws Challenge!
Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using this sketch!
Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!
Not into hearts? Debbie Owens shows how you can interchange the heart element with a different shape. Her sweet card in pinks and grays showcases the Pawprint Shaker die set. She pairs it up with the Stay Paw-sitive sentiment from the Cat-itude stamp set. This sentiment is stamped on a decorative square cut using a die from the Slimline Frames & Windows die set. The big paw print combined with the little paw print paper makes for a darling card!
Diane Morales creates a beautiful tri-fold Valentine's card in a dark purple! She uses the Heart Frames die set to create her heart element and stamps the large image from the Heartfelt Love stamp set and colors the hearts in browns and reds. A creative way to showcase these newly released products!
Sue T. shows us another creative way for a card to open. Instead of the card opening in a traditional manner, she has her heart opening to reveal a bonus sentiment from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp set. The front of her card showcases the sweet kitty couple and sentiment from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp set and cut using the coordinating die set. She uses a fun diagonal paper for her stripe and the inside of her heat. A fun, fabulous way to interpret the challenge sketch!
Amy Tollner brings us a gorgeous card filled with flowers. This card would work beautifully either as a Valentine's or wedding card! She uses the Floral Lace stencil with shimmery texture paste for an elegant background adhered to a navy card base. She continues with a navy blue heart die cut using the largest heart die from the Heart Frames die set. She then stamps the floral image from the Heartfelt Roses stamp set and die cuts it using the scallop-edged die from the same set. Her pink roses coordinate with her pink stripe. A bit of navy ribbon and jewels completes the elegance of her card!
Clarie Lamb delights us with another gorgeous card using a different floral set. Claire embosses the flowers from the Peony Blooms stamp in white. Then she colors the peonies in oranges and pinks. {sigh} She cuts them out using the coordinating die set. She pulls one of the fabulous sentiments from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set and stamps it on her heart element. She finishes off with yellow and white twine.
I hope these projects have inspired you to play along! Remember, you have until this Friday, February 12, 2021 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
