Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!
Claire Lamb provides us a beach scene that will have your yearning to take your own beach trip! She beings with the sun rays using the Sunscape stencil shining up from the waves die cut using the Sea Borders die sets. Using the Land Borders, she creates the sandy beach for her Siamese kitten to walk upon. That darling kitty is from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and die set. She stamps the sentiment on the sun using the circular die from the Frames Squared die set. She tucks it behind a wave making for a beautiful sunrise!
Using chicken and farm-themed papers, Debbie Owens creates a fun background setting for the trio of chickens from the Cluck stamp set. She then adds a speech bubble on a chicken-wire paper and die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. On the same paper, she die cuts a banner for the rest of the sentiment using the small banner die from the Frames & Flags die set. Like the postage-edged layer? Deb uses the large die from the Framework die set. This sketch is a fabulous way to use some of your fun pattern papers!
Summer is just around the corner, and Diane Morales gets us ready for the season with this scrumptious ice cream card! Set on a scallop-edged card base die cut using the large die from the Frames & Flags die set, Diane adds a white panel and a pink banner that she has lightly stamped the sprinkles and hearts from the Summer Scoops stamp set. Her featured elements are the ice cream treats from same stamp set colored in yummy pastel colors. She die cuts her treats using the coordinating die set. She stamps the sentiment on a speech bubble die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. For added texture, she uses the Petite Snow stencil on her white and yellow layers. Deliciously done, Diane!
Using the floral wreath from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp and die set is a brilliant way to incorporate the circle elements in the sketch. Sue T. then adds two yellow birds using the bird from the Newton's Valentine stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. She places these elements on a pink floral background with a green banner die cut with the large banner from the Frames & Flags die set. A beautiful way to celebrate today!
Using cool colors, Amy Tollner takes under the sea for a delightful scene filled with the sweetest purr-maids! On a teal card base, Amy adds purple shells using the Seashells stencil. Look closely, and you'll spy a bit of glitter on those seashells! She then adds two water-splattered distress circles die cut using the Circle Frames die set. Now to those sweet purr-maids! They are from the Purr-maid Newton stamp and coordinating die set. Amy adds some extra underwater critters to complete her watery scene! Delightfully done!
I hope these projects have inspired you to play along! Remember, you have until this Friday, June 18, 2021 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
