Don't forget -
There's still time to play along with our latest Inky Paws Challenge!
Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using the theme-Summer
Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!
Debbie Owens' card shows a couple of fun ways to stay cool on a hot summer day. She creates layers of bubbles beginning with the Bokeh Stencil set and texture paste. She uses the Waves stencil on a mint green background to create her watery backdrop which she then die cuts using the smaller circle die from the Circle Frames Die set. She adds the kitty on his polka dotted floatie from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set and the puppy from the Dog Days of Summer stamp set. She adds some enamel dots for some added bubbles. A fun way to stay cool!
Diane Morales uses the Circle Frames die set to create her scallop-edged card base. She adds a sandy landscape using the Sea Borders die set. She adds the darling duo from the newly released Beach Barks stamp and cuts using the coordinating die set. Don't you just love these puppies in their summer apparel! Two seashells complete her darling card!
Sue T. uses bright colors for her summer card! She finds a starfish paper and a summertime Washi tape that are go perfectly with our favorite surfer--Newton! He is from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and coordinating die set. Sue stamps the sentiment from the Tropical Fringe stamp set and die cuts using the Speech Bubbles die set. She shades the summer sentiment in the same summery colors! Fabulous!
Amy Tollner showcases the newly released Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set on her slimline card that is bursting with holiday celebrations! On her dark blue background, she adds shimmery fireworks using the Fireworks stencil. Her grassy hills were made using the dies from the Land Borders die set. She sprinkles in some flowers pulling from the Woodland Spring stamp and coordinating die set. She stamps the sentiment on the banner die in the Frames & Flags die set. Don't you just love all the critters enjoying their Independence Day? So fun!
Claire Lamb's card will inspire you to grab your kite and go outside to play on the next windy day! She creates a brilliant distressed background utilizing the Masking Circles & Squares stencils on a slimline card base. She then adds two playful puppies from the Delightful Doxies stamp and coordinating die set. The extra butterflies also look like they are enjoying themselves! Wonderful design!
I hope these projects have inspired you to play along! Remember, you have until this Friday, July 2, 2021 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
