Don't forget -
There's still time to play along with our
latest Inky Paws Challenge!
Here's a refresher.
Use the colors--Royal Blue, Olive Green, Sunshine Yellow, and White.
Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!
Debbie Owens uses the Floral Lace stencil to create her amazing distressed background in the challenge colors. She adds a sprig of yellow roses from the Roses stamp set with a sentiment banner (Frames & Flags) beneath. She creates the square card base using the Frames Squared die set. The subtle floral lace compliments the roses wonderfully!
Diane Morales was also inspired to use yellow roses on her design. Diane opts for the Heartfelt Roses stamp set that has been placed on layers created using the Heart Frames die set. For added texture, she uses the Serene Stripes stencil on her blue card base. She pulls the dimensional banner from the Banner Trio die set for her sentiment. A beautiful heart-shaped card!
Amy Tollner's card is bursting with tulips! On a scallop-edged frame (Frames & Flags die set), Amy makes fluffy clouds (Clouds stencil) and a garden of tulips using the Spring Garden Line stencil. She then showcases one of the ladies from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set who has been enjoying a day of picking tulips from her garden. Also enjoying the tulips are two little butterflies from the Newton's Birdbath stamp and coordinating die set. Amy pulls the Mother's Day sentiment from the Mom & Dad stamp set and stamps it on a banner from the Banner Trio die set. A pretty way to send love to one's mother!
Claire Lamb creates the most amazing rainy day scene! She uses the trio of puddle-stomping cats from the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp and coordinating die set. The reflection of this trio is spectacularly done as is the rain! She pulls sentiments from the Newton's Umbrella stamp set. Anyone else want to take coloring classes from Claire? 😺
Crystal O. Minkler's vintage blue truck from the Spring Haul stamp set is filled with pretty yellow flowers. Her green and white gingham blanket is a great way to incorporate green into her design. Crystal uses the yellow gingham paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad for the card base. The Frames & Flags die set was used for the sentiment, and the Circle Frames die set for the circular elements. A beautiful way to enjoy a spring day!
