Inky Paws Challenge #233 Week2

Welcome to another week of our

Monthly

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of October

we have fabulous colors to play with!

Use Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Cream with your NND products.
You have three more weeks to get creative with these colors and your NND Products!

You have from Monday, October 7, 2024 to Friday, November 1, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

Here's some inspiration.

This color combination would make gorgeous Fall projects, but don't limit yourself.  How about using these colors for a Halloween-themed card or a masculine birthday card?  So many possibilities!  Let's see what our IPC DT came up with:

Amy's Halloween card features Newton's Boo-tiful Night, Autumn Basics, A2 Card Layout, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #colorchallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #halloweencards, #catcards
Amy Tollner uses the green with white polka dotted paper from the Autumn Basics paper pad with the A2 Card Layout die set to make a moody background for her Halloween card. She then uses two spookily cute Halloween images from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and coordinating die set. She places them a top the slate gray frame and adds her sentiment on a gray tag using a die from the Framework die set. How cute are these colors with a Halloween theme?

Claire's autumn card features Newton's Crate and Falling Leaves by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #colorchallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #catcards, #fallcards, #autumncards
Claire Lamb goes for an autumn-themed card. She distresses her background using the Falling Leaves stencil making for a gorgeous setting for her sweet kitty. This cream-colored feline is from the Newton's Crate stamp and coordinating die set is looking amazing in his gray crate filled with pumpkins!

Crystal's birthday card features Newton's Birthday Balloons and Clouds by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #colorchallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #catcards, #birthdaycards
Crystal Minkler creatively uses the challenge colors for a birthday card!  Her orange clouds are spectacular and were made using the Clouds stencil. Flying high in those clouds is a precious, gray furball from the Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal pulls in the cream and olive green with her wonderfully colored balloons!

Danni's autumn card features Natural Basics, Autumn Mice, and A2 Card Layout 2 by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #colorchallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #micecard, #autumncards, #fallcards, #harvestcards
Danni Bindel showcases a trio of cream-colored mice from the Autumn Mice stamp and coordinating die set. She adds her green using papers from the Natural Basics paper pad. Her gray panels were made using the A2 Card Layout2 die. The splash of orange in her leaves adds a nice contrast to this delight autumn card!

Deb's harvest card features Newton's Crate, Fall Harvest, Autumn Harvest, Farmer Newton, and Serene Stripes by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #colorchallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #farmercard, #autumncard, #fallcard, #catcard,
Debbie Owens mixes and matches images from the Fall Harvest, the Autumn Harvest, and the Farmer Newton stamp sets to create her fabulous fall scene.  She adds some texture using the Serene Stripes stencil and adds a sentiment from the Newton's Crate stamp set.  Mixing images from different sets is a great way to stretch your stamp stash!

Don't forget you have 3 more weeks to get
inky with these fab colors!
