Inky Paws Challenge #234-Week 1

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of November, 

we have fabulous sketch that can work for any occasion!

You have four weeks to get creative with this great sketch. 

You have from Monday, November 4, 2024 to Friday, November 29, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, this sketch will make creating holiday cards so much easier. But why limit yourself to holidays?  Whip up some birthday cards for 2025.  The gray, gloomy weather got you down?  Make some bright, colorful spring cards to cheer yourself up!  We can't wait to see what you make!

Debbie Owens creates a holiday scene with these cute little buildings from the Main Street Christmas stamp and die set. She uses a pair of papers from the Christmas Basics paper pad to coordinate with the builidngs for a fun interpretation of the sketch!

Amy Tollner designs an elegant card using the Heartfelt Fall stamp set and a sentiment from the Frames & Flags die set. her gorgeous  coloring of the leaves paired with the gold glitter paper make for a gorgeous autumn card.

Claire Lamb is celebrating the arrival of her new kitten with this playful card. She pulls teal and orange papers form the A Cat's Life paper pad to create her card base. She then creates a stitiched panel using the Basic Frames die set and places her new kitty and all her new toys upon it. These sweet images are from the Welcome New Cat stamp and coordinating die set.  Congrats to Claire on her new fur baby!

Crystal Minkler is using several products to create this darling holiday card. She uses papers from the Christmas Time paper pad for her card base. She then uses the Evergreens Stencil to create a subtle pattern on her red panel. She then uses the newly released Postage Stamp Layout Die to create her three postage stamps which are sporting little holiday images from the newly released Holiday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. She heat embosses in white a sentiment from the Bells & Holly stamp set. Such a darling card!
