Inky Paws Challenge #239 Week 2

Welcome to Inky Paws'

April Challenge!

We have the prettiest colors to inspire you this month!

Use the colors: Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!

You have until Friday, May 2, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! Amy Tollner uses the Fractured Card Layout die to create this sweet Easter card. The green gingham paper comes from the Pastel Basics paper pad. Her central element is one of the darling bunnies from the Hop Into Spring stamp and coordinating die set. A great use of the challenge colors!

Claire Lamb designs this darling CAS card using the little images from the Easter Postage Sampler stamp and die set. She places them on the stitched panel (Basic Frames die set). Using the zig-zag die from the Frames & Tags die, Claire pulls the green paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad for her background panel. She adds spring sentiment using the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set. Absolutely darling!

Crystal's spring card features Spring Haul, Circle Frames, and Pastel Basics by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #spring, #springcards

Crystal Minkler's use of yellow gingham and lavender heart papers (Pastel Basics paper pad) work wonderfully together. She aligns them on a Kraft card base. She then adds a Kraft scalloped-circle using the Circle Frames die set. At last, she adds her green vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die set. Love all those pretty flowers in the truck's bed!

Danni Bindel creates a baa-thday card using the trio of sweet sheep from the Baa stamp and coordinating die set. She creates a purple border using the Postage Stamp Layout die, and then fills the panels with yellow or green papers. A bright way to send birthday greetings!

Deb's Mother's Day card features Best Mom Oval, Spring Blooms Oval, Hop Into Spring, Pastel Basics, Frames & Flags, and Oval Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #spring, #springcards, #mothersdaycards, #bunnycards

Debbie Owens uses the challengle card for a flowery Mother's Day card. She uses papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad for her background die cut using the scallop-edge die (Frames & Flags die set). She then uses the Oval Frames die set to create the oval panels. Those beautiful flowers are from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set with a sentiment from the Best Mom Oval stamp set. She completes her card with the cute bunny from the Hop Into Spring stamp set. Darling!

Danni Bindel creates this sweet spring card showcasing her sweet kitty from the Newton's Umbrella stamp and coordinating die set. Her use of the blue striped paper makes it look like a spring shower in the background. Her fun paper selection comes from the Pastel Basics paper pad and die cut using dies from the Frames & Tags die set. Her big, puffy rain clouds were made using the Sky Scene Builder die set. The way she colored her feline and the added stripes to her umbrella just add to the cuteness!

Debbie's baby shower card features Raindrops, Sky Scene Builder, Essential Alphabet, Springtime, and Bitty Bibs by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnookdesigns, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #springcard, #babyshower, #babycard

Debbie Owens baby shower card is a creative twist on the shower theme. She uses the Raindrops stencil and the Sky Scene Builder die set to create the showery backdrop. She adds the letters for baby using the Essential Alphabet die set with striped paper from the Springtime paper pad. She adds a trio of bibs using the Bitty Bibs stamp and coordinating die set and places them atop floral and striped papers from the Springtime paper pad. A creative take on the Showers & Flowers theme!

To give her card a nice spring flair, Amy adds clouds using the Sky Borders die set with subtle raindrops using the Raindrops stencil. Her critters look amazing with her amazing coloring skills!

Crystal Minkler uses the Cherry Blossoms stamp and coordinating die set in such a creative way. Using the Postage Stamp Layout die, she creates six panels filled with the cherry blossoms. Such a beautiful way to celebrate spring!

Enjoying all the fresh flowers is the darling feline from the Newton's Flower Garden stamp set. Deb adds a sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set for her final touch. So cute!

She uses the pink striped paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad with the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. Amy then stamps and colors all those gorgeous flowers from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set framed with the scallop-edged oval (Oval Frames die set). The little Doxie in his bright yellow raincoat is from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp and coordinating die set, and he is looking absolutely adorable on this fab card!

Claire's spring card features Newton's Umbrella, Hexagon Frames, and Spring Blooms by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardchallenge, #cardmakingideas, #cardmaking, #catcards

Claire Lamb creates a darling sky using the cloudy sky paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad cut using dies from the Hexagon Frames die set. Her black kitty from the Newton's Umbrella stamps and coordinating die set is enjoying his ride among the clouds with his bright yellow umbrella. Such a clever and fun card!

Crystal Minkler utilizes the Petite Clouds and the Hills & Grass stencil sets to create her beautiful spring day on a stitched panel (Basic Frames die set). She adds her lavender flowers from the Dainty Daisies stamp and coordinating die set. Her card has been yearning for green grass and fresh blooms!

Danni Bindel also brings us beautiful lavender flowers! Her gorgeous flowers are from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set. She sets them a top a bright background created using the Frames & Tags die set and polka dotted papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. The addition of the two butterflies is a wonderful finishing touch!

Debbie Owens uses the newly released Hyacinth stamp set on her trio of panels created using the A7 Frames & Banners die set. She places her floral panels on a stenciled background created using the Quatrefoill stencil. She stamps her sentiment on a hexagonal panel and frames it with a scalloped hexagon using the Hexagon Frames die set. Such a pretty way to showcase this new stamp set

Amy Tollner use so of yellow and green creates such a fresh and brilliant spring card! She creates her square-shaped card and panels using the Frames Squared die set. Those pretty designer papers come from the Spring Blooms paper pad. Don't you love the hexagonal panel (Hexagon Frames die set)? Her star attraction is the lovely lady from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set. Amy finishes with a sentiment from the Spring Roundabout stamp set on a green banner). Fresh and delightful!
